Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology is one of a number of innovations being added to the Intel® IA-32 Server/Workstation platforms in 2004. It represents a natural addition to Intel's IA-32 architecture, allowing high performance platforms to support larger data sets. Processors with 64-bit extension technology will support 64-bit extended Operating Systems (O/S) from Microsoft, Red Hat and SuSE. At the same time, these processors remain 100% compatible with all of today's existing 32-bit applications and operating systems.

Early Access Program members can test drive extended applications today using the Remote Access Service. Log-in to the Intel® Xeon™ Processor Program or the Itanium® Processor Program and schedule access today. Contact your Intel representative if you need more information.
