The Intel® Server Board SE7501HG2 gives businesses an ideal solution to the challenges of building, running, and supporting departmental and Internet-driven applications. For performance, the board supports dual Intel® Xeon™ processors supporting up to 2MB L3 cache with a 533MHz system bus, dual-channel Ultra320 SCSI, dual integrated Intel® PRO 1000+ Server Network Connections, and registered ECC DDR266 SDRAM. It also provides triple-peer PCI buses and six PCI slots with three PCI-X slots supporting speeds of up to 133 MHz.

The innovative Intel® One Boot Update capabilities of the Intel® Server Board SE7501HG2, in conjunction with Intel® Server Management, enables system administrators to remotely update a server's BIOS and firmware while the server is running. These updates become active the next time the server is rebooted and, should there be a problem during reboot, the system will roll-back to the last BIOS and firmware versions and continue booting. The Intel® One Boot Update feature of the Intel® Server Board SE7501HG2 improves server reliability, manageability and uptime while reducing support costs.
